Our popular family restaurant THE STABLES is open to all diners - house guests and the public, serving "REAL FOOD - REAL FRESH - REAL VALUE". Come on in, and enjoy a bistro-style menu in comfortable and informal surroundings. We are fully licensed, so you can enjoy a drink with your meal, and our in-house guests just walk 'home' to bed. Room service is also available.
Dinner: We are open Monday to Thursday nights for dinner, plus Sunday Roast from 5.30pm Sundays. We serve quality meat sourced from our local butcher, BIG RED'S. Our Southland specialities include Bangers & Mash ($17.50) made with tasty Southland sausages, and the famous Southern Waters Blue Cod ($23) - served battered or pan-fried. Sunday night is our special Family Roast Night, when you can choose from our talked-about Roast of the Day for only $18, or enjoy a 2-course dinner for $22, or 3-course dinner for $26. Breakfast: We are open for Cooked and Continental Breakfasts Tuesday to Friday mornings. A Continental Breakfast Tray is available for room service 7 days.
Cut Lunches: Our legendary 'All Day Lunches' are available 7 days and offer outstanding value. Ideal for working men or family travelers. We also offer a Lighter Cut Lunch option.
Private Functions: The restaurant can be booked for small private functions on Fridays and Saturdays. The Coachman's Inn restaurant is an ideal space for smaller private functions. Numbers are limited to 20 for sit-down dinners, or up to 30 for finger food gatherings. Private functions are available for both in-house groups and the public.
Larger groups can be accommodated in the Conference Room.
